Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
Our Warranty Promise
When Phil the Roofer installs your new roof, we back our work with a lifetime workmanship warranty. This means we guarantee our installation work for as long as your roofing materials last.
What "Lifetime" Means
"Lifetime" refers to the expected lifespan of your roofing materials as rated by the manufacturer - not forever. For example, if you have 30-year shingles, our workmanship warranty lasts 30 years. When your roofing materials reach the end of their rated life, this warranty ends.
What We Cover
Phil the Roofer will fix, at no cost:
- Leaks caused by improper installation
- Problems with flashing, sealing, or fastening we installed
- Any defects in our workmanship that cause roof problems
What We Don't Cover
Our warranty does not cover:
- Storm damage, hail, wind, or acts of God
- Normal aging and wear
- Damage from lack of maintenance
- Problems caused by others working on your roof
- Damage from walking on the roof or installing equipment
- Material defects (these are covered by the manufacturer)
Keeping Your Warranty Valid
Annual Inspections: Your roof must be inspected every year. We offer affordable annual inspections, or you can hire another licensed roofer. Keep all inspection records.
Important: If another contractor works on your roof, your warranty becomes void. Only Phil the Roofer should perform repairs during the warranty period.
How to File a Claim
- Call us as soon as you notice a problem
- We'll inspect within 72 hours
- If covered, we'll complete repairs within 30 days
Transferring Your Warranty
Selling your home? This warranty can transfer once to the new owner. Both parties must notify us in writing within 30 days of closing.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers our labor only. The roofing materials you purchase come with their own manufacturer warranty, which we'll help you register for.
Limitations
This warranty provides specific rights under Texas law. It covers workmanship only, not materials. Phil the Roofer's liability is limited to repair of covered defects.
Acceptance of Terms
By hiring Phil the Roofer for your roofing project, you agree to these warranty terms. We'll provide a signed warranty certificate when your roof installation is complete.
